With Done by Friday, he aims to help businesses realise the true potential of digital channels and technologies to achieve hard objectives – produces leads and create sales.

He has developed breakthrough interactive strategies for clients including Heinz Wattie's, Holden, TVNZ, Vero and James Hardies and is recognised as an industry pioneer and leader. Boyd is a former chairman of the DMA eMarketing Council, former DMA board member, has judged the NZ Marketing Associations RSVP and Nexus Awards on numerous occasions, is a former MA Agency Council Executive and has seen gorillas in the wild.

Owen Scott - KiwiHUG Leader

I have extensive experience in the New Zealand technology industry, in technical, sales and marketing roles. My career has focussed on helping businesses successfully develop, use or commercialise technology-based products and services. This includes periods working in the United Kingdom and the USA.

A regular columnist on marketing in The Press, I am on the board of the New Zealand Hi-Tech Trust (responsible for the NZ Hi-Tech Awards) and Enable Services, the company responsible for building an ultra-fast broadband (UFB) network for Christchurch. I was recently on the board of the New Zealand Software Association and the Canterbury Software Cluster.

I am a member of the New Zealand Institute of Management, and the New Zealand Institute of Directors, and in 2011 completed the IOD’s Certificate in Company Direction.

Spare time involves family, mountain biking, boating, coaching teenage rugby, and completing endless DIY projects.

Surprise fact:
I am qualified to navigate the oceans via the sun and stars.

Greg Williamson - KiwiHUG Leader

A former senior manager in various sales and marketing roles at Jade Software Corporation, I have also worked as a consultant for government and corporate public relations firms. Although most of my career has been focussed on helping tech companies commercialise their innovations, I’ve also had experience working on capital raising, lobbying and corporate sponsorship projects.

I am an independent director of Basketball New Zealand and Chairman of Agape Street Ministries Trust, an education provider in Christchurch’s eastern suburbs. A member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors, in 2011 I completed the IOD’s Certificate in Company Direction.

When not working, I spend time with my family, involved in church activities, triathlon, running and some very average surfing.

Surprise fact:
I am a former press officer for the Bougainville Revolutionary Army.
